Caldwell Public Library, Carnegie Building, Construction, Caldwell

The Caldwell Public Library Carnegie Building being built in 1913-1914, located on 11th and Cleveland in Caldwell, Idaho. The lot was purchased by the city in 1912, on April 30, 1912 Carnegie gave $12,500 to help build the library. Construction began in 1913 and was completed on April 15, 1914 and opened to the public on May 1, 1914. Caldwell High School later used it as their library from 1920 to 1942.
