Description

Early Idaho settlers, the Johnston Brothers, built their cabin in the settler town of Dixie Slough (19 miles from present day Caldwell). The rudimentary map seen above shows their cabin (where the black arrow is pointing) in relation to Caldwell , the Boise River, Canyon Hill, and the Dixie Slough.
