Romance in the Dixie Slough
All was not work--in the early Dixie Slough--there was romance!

After two weeks of courtship they were married by Elder B.F. Morrow at Frost's springs located just West of the present intersection of Kimball and Paynter Ave. Daisy Vinson has written: Reverand Morrow performed the first wedding ceremony in this valley. It was west of what is now Caldwell.
