Mason Creek Ditch (aka Canyon County Water Co. Canal)
Charley Potts and John Thomas built the Mason Creek Ditch in 1866.
More than 1,850 acres received water from the five-mile ditch with six miles of laterals. It started at the south bank of the Boise River.
In 1866 a man called Mr. Eaton constrcuted a small dam to divert water from the north bank into an irrigation slough. This ditch is now known as the Canyon County Water Company Canal.
